This 1700's home underwent a full home renovation to create a modern newbuild 5 bedroom home with over 350m2 of habitable living space. The medieval building was demolished and was rebuilt using the reclaimed stone.
This was a supply only project from The Air Shop, where we were able to offer expert advice, design and supply for their MVHR project.
Renovating is the perfect time to install MVHR as it gives you maximum access for installation of the unit and most importantly the ducting. What Was Specified For This Project?
This project required 2 Vent Axia Sentinel Kinetic units and Ubbink Semi-Rigid ducting to provide the perfect amount of ventilation needed for this size home. This customer didn't want trickle vents and wanted to help keep their home cool due to the solar gain.
This remarkable home will thrive with all the benefits MVHR has to offer. The continuous flow of air will create a cooling effect in the home and the system will help keep excess moisture from turning into mould and excess condensation, as well as helping keep as many pollutants out of the home as possible.
