    The VentAssure™ documents have been designed to aid self builders and builders with MVHR installation, and are unique to The Air Shop.  The documents have been created from extensive site knowledge and provide a step-by-step guide for all components to be installed correctly and checked off during the installation process.

Do I need a MVHR Design?

How will you know what goes where?

One of many essential questions.  Skipping the design phase and relying on guesswork or a "one-size-fits-all" bundle approach will lead to problems with how your MVHR system performs inside the home, and in some instances, whether it can be signed off for Building Regulations and Building Control.  You might find yourself with too little parts, or too many which will slow down progress onsite. 

During the estimate stage, we can calculate airflow rates for the home to determine the best sized unit and factor in ducting resistance so that the system can run quietly and efficiently.  Our many years of experience will automatically know what to look for and how to provide an accurate estimated cost.

During the design stage we get down to the specific detail for your home.  Where is the manifold being located, how many duct runs to each room, what ducting requires insulation...  all of this is detailed on a CAD layout and a detailed list of materials is provided.

      Full Home Renovation

      This 1700's property has undergone a full renovation and needed MVHR ventilation as part of the renovation. It now has 350m2 of habitable space and needed 2 Vent Axia Sentinel Kinetic Advance units and semi-rigid ducting to provide this new home with fresh, filtered air and heat recovery ventilation.

      The Air Shop designed this MVHR system and provided all the parts including the units, ducting, valves, and accessories.
