The Air Shop Terms & Conditions
We believe in a simple process.
There are no hidden charges and your experience in talking to us, requesting information, and purchasing products should be straightforward.
Ordering Items
You can order products from us in the following ways:
- Via the website by clicking the items you require, adding to the basket and checking out. Payment can be made by all major debit or credit cards via PCI Compliant payment gateway options provided including but not limited to Square and PayPal
- Via phone by calling us on 0333 696 8540
- Via email using sales@theairshop.co.uk
If you have placed an order with us online, we will send you a confirmation that we have received your order. This is automated email. This does not guarantee that we will be able to meet your order. We will be in touch if we can’t and offer alternative options and provide a delivery date.
Prices
- Prices are shown on our website include VAT (at current rate) in £ GBP
- We are continuously checking our online prices try to make sure that that they are accurate
- We will validate the price before we process your order and get in touch if there are any issues
- Product on sale and sold is dispatched to you quickly as possible - if we are unable to supply a particular item which you have ordered or if the correct price for an item is different from the price on your order, we will notify you as soon as we can after receiving your order. If this happens, you may cancel your order and provide a full refund
- Delivery options and charges are shown when you place an order for an item online
- Choose the relevant delivery if there are options, otherwise, the required/minimum delivery option will be shown, and you will not be able to checkout until it has been selected
- Delivery charges vary based on product types and delivery address - please see our Shipping/Delivery Page for more up to date details on delivery charges
- If the product/s you have ordered will require a pallet for delivery, we will contact you after the order has been placed and provide a separate quotation for delivery charges which will be required to be paid before the order is processed.
Subscriptions
By purchasing a subscription, you agree to an initial (paid at the initial checkout) and reoccurring charge based on your preference (varying based on product subscription)
You are responsible for all reoccurring charges until your subscription is cancelled. You may cancel your filter subscription at any time, subject to our cancellation policy detailed below.
All subscriptions payments will be processed automatically via our secure payment gateway provider Square who is PCI compliant.

We offer a number of subscription options for our products:
MVHR Filter Subscriptions
- You will receive 10% discount on your first order and then the subscription will be set up based on your selection of 3 monthly or 6 monthly filters
- You can cancel the subscription AFTER the first automatic order has been processed and will need to provide 30 days’ notice
- Please email sales@theairshop.co.uk and advise your details to request your cancellation of subscription
AIRATA Cleaning Subscriptions
- You will receive up to 50% off your first order and then your subscription will be set up based on your selection
The Casual (8 weeks), The Everydayer (7 weeks), The Constant (6 weeks)
- You can cancel the subscription AFTER the first automatic order has been processed and you will need to provide 30 days’ notice
- Please email sales@theairshop.co.uk and advise your details to request your cancellation of subscription
Each time your subscription is processed you will receive the following information:
- A copy of a sales order detailing the subscription product and price
- A copy of your automatically paid invoice via our payment provider Square
Other Subscription Information:
- If you wish to transfer your filter subscription to a different MVHR Filter Model or change the grade of filter, please contact us on 0333 696 8540 or email sales@theairshop.co.uk with your change requirements.
- If a payment is unable to be processed when the subscription is due, we will contact you for an additional payment method.
- Payment will be required if cancellation is not in accordance with our cancellation policy has not been received.
- Cancellations must be requested in writing to sales@theairshop.co.uk by quoting your subscription reference which can be found on your original subscription order
- Any price increases that we may have to make to our products will be advised with 30 days’ notice via email.
Referrals
We run a series of referral programmes which include different offers and requirements.
Free MVHR Filter Referral (neighbours/block)
You will be issued with a unique referral code which is connected to your original purchase. This can be shared with neighbours in the same development as you. This unique referral URL and code will apply an automatic discount at checkout when used. It can only be used once per customer and postcode validation will be required.
We will track the use of this unique code via the basket and checkout on our website
Once we have received the required number of code redemptions, we will contact you to advise that you have qualified for your free filter. All free filters are our Basic Barrier (Grade G3) and will be sent to you via our standard couriers (3-5 days delivery) – The referral code has a 6 month expiry from the date of receipt.
Payments – Online and via Payment Links
- We use secure and compliant payment gateways and systems to take online payments for goods ordered online and manage subscriptions.
- We do not take payments over the phone and will send you a secure payment link if required
- We do not store any payment details on our website.
- We currently use PayPal, Stripe and Square Up, all of which comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS)

Estimates and Full Quotations – Bespoke Ventilation Systems
Estimate vs. Full Quotation: Understanding the Difference
When seeking pricing information for goods or services, you may encounter both estimates and full quotations. While they serve similar purposes, there are distinct differences between the two that are important to understand:
Estimate:
An estimate provides an approximate cost for a project or service based on preliminary information and discussions for a bespoke ventilation system. The items listed in the estimate will be a rough calculation of requirements and overall anticipated costs. The estimate is non-binding and serves as a ballpark figure. The estimate may be subject to change based on unknown factors and a more in depth review of plans and requirements (as per paid design and full quotation service detailed below)
Full Quotation:
We offer a paid design service which includes a full and detailed quotation. The full quotation It is more comprehensive than an estimate and will include the detailed information required for the specific ventilation system. The price of a full quotation is final and can be accepted by the client for payment. Acceptance of a full quotation constitutes a binding agreement between the client and the service provider. It outlines the terms and conditions of the proposed work, including payment terms, delivery schedules, and any other relevant details.
Please note that a full quotation considers and utilises the information provided by the client. During the installation process, additional items may be required, and these will quoted and paid for separately.
Returns
We accept returns for products that meet our returns criteria based on each product category:
- MVHR Filters - within 28 Days for wrong products ordered/changed mind
- Ventilation Products (standard/listed online) - within 28 Days for wrong products ordered/changed mind

- All products must be in a resaleable condition in their original, unopened packaging
Damaged in Transit or Missing Items
Where products are damaged in transit, we must be advised no longer than 2 working days AFTER the delivery date. We will then proceed to investigate these issues with our 3rd party couriers.
Large Orders
Where large filters orders (20 + Units) have been placed and returns are required, a restocking charge may apply.
Bespoke Project Orders
Where parts are purchased for bespoke quote/designs, returns may be acceptable if they are in a resaleable condition and are advised within 30 days of delivery. A 25% restocking fee will be applied to all returned goods.
Returns Process
- All returns must be requested via email sales@theairshop.co.uk with details of your sales order number and delivery address
- Once the returns team have accepted your return, instructions will be provided.

- Cost for returns of unwanted goods is at the cost of the customer
- A proof of posting should always be kept. We recommend recorded delivery.
Faulty Items
Please contact us via email sales@theairshop.co.uk or call 0333 696 8540 to discuss your faulty items. Please ensure you have your original order number to discuss. Product warranties are based on each manufacturer.
Shipping
- We offer a range of shipping options for products sold online as well as bespoke project orders (where a design has been completed or for products not sold directly on the website).
- Delivery charges and estimated timeframe are details when you place an order online.
- If your order is placed and received before 12.00 midday, we aim to process your order and ship the same day, as long as the products are available and in stock.
- You will receive a tracking number (where relevant and paid)

Responsibilities
- We will not be responsible for any losses resulting from your use or the inability to use our website or resulting from unauthorised access to, or alteration of your transmissions or data in circumstances which are beyond our control
- We will not be responsible for your loss of profits, wasted expenditure, corruption or destruction of data or any other loss which does not directly result from something we have done wrong.
- You will be responsible if you use this website in breach of these terms of use and will reimburse us for any loss that you cause to us as a result of your misuse.
- Our online ecommerce store and shopping online service is provided on an available basis. We can't guarantee that at times the website will not be available for any reason beyond our control
