How do I change my MVHR Heat Recovery Filters?
- Power off your Heat Recovery unit
- If required, remove the front panel from the heat recovery unit. Please refer to the manual of your heat recovery unit if you are unsure how to do this. Alternatively, there are often obvious filter doors on the front of your unit which will just pull open.
- Remove the dirty heat recovery filters from the heat recovery unit by pulling the tab.
(Take note of the dirtiest filter - this will be the supply air filter as it is dealing with polluted air from outside and if you have chosen a Summer Sneezer, Dust Destroyer or Propper Stopper you will need to replace the correct filter for the supply air - we send info with your order)
- Insert the new heat recovery filters into the heat recovery unit – make sure you place the correct filter on the supply and extract sides of your unit!
- Replace the front panel on the heat recovery unit, if removed
- Power up the unit
- Reset the Maintenance Light via the menu (see user manual) if required
This should be a super simple procedure so if any of these stages appear complicated or problematic then chances are you may have the wrong filters for your unit.
