What is MVHR Heat Recovery and what are the benefits?

MVHR is a whole house ventilation system perfect for todays modern homes where comfort, energy efficiency and health and well-being are on the agenda.

What maintenance does my MVHR System need?

MVHR Filter Replacement is only part of the equation - dust, debris and grease clogs up in many other areas which can impact the performance of the system

What are Heat Recovery Filters and why should I change them?

All MVHR Heat Recovery units contain filters and they play a key role in the performance of the ventilation system in your home.

Annual Maintenance
Requirements

Your MVHR system moves air all day every day of the year, keeping your comfortable and keeping your heating bills in check by recovering and reusing heat that would have otherwise have been lost!  We can't see air, but it's filled with dust, debris and grease that moves in and around your ventilation system.

  • Syetem Servicing: Recommended Annually - focusing on heat exchanger, air valves, motors
  • Ducting Deep Clean: Recommended every 5 years  - focusing on internals of ducting, usually includes antibacterial cleaning/fogging
  • MVHR Filters: Recommended every 4-6 months - choose filters based on your indoor air quality needs including dust and pollen options
