Vent Axia's PureAir PIV Unit Home is designed to eradicate condensation and mould from your home. It reduces the risk of health issues in the home by improving indoor air quality and quickly eradicating conditions that lead to mould growth and associated health issues such as asthma and itchy skin. The unit uses positive input ventilation to reduces humidity in the air, curing condensation and creating a healthier indoor environment. Integral heater works to reduce cold draughts from air coming into the home from loft space. Fully controllable heater settings. Up to 150m2 property.

What is PIV? Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) is a whole house air ventilation system that works by drawing in fresh, filtered air into a property from outside. These can be either installed in a loft space or on a wall in a flat or apartment. They ensure that a continuous supply of air is supplied into the home to eliminate or significantly reduce condensation. PIV systems create fresh and healthy living environments by supplying fresh, filtered air into a property at a continuous rate throughout a property and is our most popular method of whole house ventilation. Energy recovery ventilation systems provide a controlled way of ventilating a home while minimising energy loss. They reduce the costs of heating ventilated air in the winter by transferring heat from the warm inside exhaust air to the fresh (but cold) outside supply air.

The heater activation point can be set at the point of installation- normally set a 10⁰C. The heater element heat up and transfer the heat to the incoming air. Although you cannot see it happening they are a little like oven thermostats and are not drawing power all of the time. They typically activate between 5% and 10% of the time. The cost over the heating season would be between £20 and £40

Delivery

Ventilation Delivery Information:

Delivery:

The Air Shop use DPD to send items up to 30kg
All DPD deliveries can be tracked and traced.
Delivery date will be advised within 24 hours on completion of order and is based on stock availability
Delivery is available Monday – Friday
DPD will advise you in advance of the one hour delivery timeslot
You can track your parcel all the way to you on a live map with a countdown to the final 15 minute timeslot
If delivery is not convenient you can opt for the unit to be left in a safe place or delivered to neighbour.

For orders over 30kg

The Air Shop use UPS to deliver larger items over 30kg
All UPS deliveries can be tracked and traced
Delivery date will be advised within 24 hours on complete of order and is based on stock availability
Delivery is available Monday – Friday
UPS will advise you in advance of the one-hour delivery timeslot

Larger Pallet and Multiple Unit Orders

If you are placing an order for multiple units that require a pallet delivery, we will provide a separate quotation for this.

Collection
You are welcome to collect your order from us.
Please call us on 033 0223 6776 or email sales@theairshop.com to confirm that the items are in stock and to agree a collection date/time.

We will then aim to have your order ready for you.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Returns

Returns are accepted on fully packaged/unopened products or where products are faulty.

Returns must be advised within 14 days of order receipt For all returns – please email sales@theairshop.co.uk using your order number in the subject title and details/reason for the return.

When the refund is accepted by our team, please return your items (at your cost).

Once received, we will confirm and a refund credit will be applied to your original method of payment within 5 working days.

Returns must be sent within 28 days of receiving your order otherwise we are unable to offer an exchange or refund.
